Strings & flowers: Vancouver is getting a Bridgerton-style concert & here’s when

Great news, Bridgerton lovers, VanDusen is bringing back its Regency-era-inspired outdoor concert, Spring Strings. With a backdrop of golden laburnum trees and violet wisterias, this spring event is a must-visit.

Guests can don their finest picnic attire and roam the 55 acres of the garden, settling in on the Great Lawn for a special performance by Low Strung, a classically-trained cello-rock group from Yale University performing everything from Coldplay to the Eagles.

If you love any chance to dress up and feel like a main character, now is the perfect chance to do so. Embrace the elegance and lavishness you’ve been waiting for, minus the drama!

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and low chairs to sprawl out across the Great Lawn, as formal seating for the concert is not provided. And if you feel peckish, you can indulge in eats from La Glace, Chou Chou Crepes, Holi Masala, and Mr. Arancino.
