The blooming flowers at VanDusen Botanical Gardens have been the backdrop of many events over the years. On Saturday, May 28th, a Bridgerton-style concert will be added to the list! That’s right, Spring Strings will feature all the elegance and Regency-era lavishness you’ve been waiting for. Minus the drama.
The matinee cello performance will take place on the Great Lawn, featuring the classically-trained, rock-cello group from Yale University, Low Strung. The group will perform everything from Lady Gaga to the Beatles.

Time to get dressed up in your finest picnic attire and spend the day roaming 55-acres of beautiful wisteria and golden laburnum trees. Bring some snacks & libations, a parasol, and perhaps a secret or two. We won’t tell if you won’t!
The performance will start at 2 pm, but entry and seating will begin at 1 pm through the west end of the parking lot.
Tickets are valid for the show as well as all-day garden admission.
If you need another excuse to dress up and explore the gardens, you can always make your way back for VanDusen’s annual rose show in June.
We’ll see you there, Vancouver.
