After taking a hiatus from an in-person event last year, Contact Music Festival has announced that it’s coming back to Vancouver this winter! Well, most likely coming back, since a couple of things are up in the air right now. Here’s what to know about it.
Contact has swapped venues this year, opting for the Vancouver Convention Centre instead of BC Place. The 2-day long festival will see a variety of names both big and small, including Excision, Loud Luxury and Madeon. However, we’re most excited about the opportunity to dance it out to Eric Prydz’s absolute banger- Call on Me.

Now, for the catch. Contact Festival is anticipating that the current restrictions on dancing in BC will be lifted before the event actually goes down. So, if that doesn’t happen, the event will be cancelled and all ticketholders will receive refunds.
Early bird tickets are already onsale, and the general sale kicks off tomorrow! If you feel the need to dance this winter, this is going to be a great option.
