Say hello to Ophelia, the newest restaurant in Vancouver!

Guess what- a new upscale Mexican restaurant called Ophelia has just opened its doors in Olympic Village! That means you get to try something new this weekend, so here’s a little bit of info on what to expect.
The name is an homage to Executive Chef Francisco Higareda’s mother, so you know that there’s going to be a lot of pride in each and every dish. Professionally trained in Mexico City, Higareda worked at Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe and opened a couple of his own in Mexico before coming to Vancouver.

And now, he’s settling into Ophelia! The menu will highlight the very best of Latin American cuisine, with dishes ranging from simple tortilla soup to vegan tacos to acorn-crusted octopus with white mole sauce. Luckily for you, the hardest part of the meal will be picking what you want to start with.
So whether you’re looking for dine-in or takeout this weekend, keep this new addition to Vancouver’s restaurant scene in mind!
