These Vancouver restaurants, cafes, and bars have fireplaces for cozy season

We can think of few things cozier than our favourite warm beverage, pasty, or meal out accompanied by a roaring fire. So we’ve put together a list of Vancouver restaurants, cafes, and bars that have cozy fireplaces to check out this season.

JJ Bean – Main

The JJ Bean on Main and 14th is a staple for studying, laptop work, or simply cozying up at the fireplace with your favourite pastry and coffee or tea.

Where: 3010 Main Street

Batch

In addition to its pop-up patio at the beach, Batch on Plaza is open for fall, with cozy firepits waiting to welcome you to enjoy a local sip, snack, or brew.

Where: 770 Pacific Boulevard and 2305 Cornwall Avenue

The Lobby Lounge and RawBar

Maybe you want to treat yourself to a sip or two at the Fairmont Pac Rim, which boasts a comfortable lounge area complete with a variety of cozy seating and a fireplace.

Where: 1038 Canada Place

The Morrissey Pub

This pub has a quirky atmosphere that’s perfect for a low-key night out. Giant chandeliers, mix-matched art, and a cozy fireplace to enjoy as you sip your fave beer!

Where: 1227 Granville Street

Anh and Chi

Not only did Anh and Chi usher in a new era of contemporary (and vegan) Vietnamese cuisine to the city, but they’ve also set a new standard for how you get to enjoy it. The outdoor patio is adorned in twinkling lights and beautiful vines this time of year, and accompanied by a cozy fire pit.

Where: 3388 Main Street

The Sandbar Seafood Restaurant

Situated in the heart of Granville Island, The Sandbar is a great spot to pop into for a comfortable meal or happy hour bite.

Where: 1535 Johnston Street

Lupo Restaurant

This Yaletown spot is another great pick if you’re looking for an elevated meal out. And if you’re craving Italian, Lupo is one of the best in town!

Where: 869 Hamilton Street

Great Dane Coffee

It’s worth venturing to UBC’s Vancouver campus for the fall foliage, but Great Dane Coffee is a must-visit alone for its expansive outdoor patio, which includes an outdoor fireplace as well as firepits at most of the tables.

Where: 6011 Walter Gage Road

The Roof at Black + Blue

You really can’t go wrong with a nice steak dinner at the rooftop patio at Black + Blue, which is known for its picturesque decor and fireplaces.

Where: 1032 Alberni Street

And that’s a wrap on some restaurants, pubs, lounges, and cafes to visit the next time you’re craving some time by the flames.
