With Valentine’s Day around the corner, now is the perfect time to start thinking about potential gifts and experiences for two. And fortunately, you don’t need a Valentine to take advantage of this pop-up market coming to Vancouver this weekend.

Hosted by Pink Palett Productions at The Kent in Gastown, ‘Cupid’s Market’ is the perfect event to whisk your date off to for a day of curated shopping, food and drinks, and open DJ sets. And if you’d rather bring a Palentine or two instead, consider your weekend plans made.

Visitors can indulge in pasta bites as well as sushi prepared by a live sushi chef, or sip on themed drinks from The Kent’s cocktail bar. In terms of shopping, there will be over 20 local vendors to peruse, including ones making handmade jewelry, crocheted items, herbal smudge blends, and all sorts of rare oddities.

The experience promises to be memorable, with rotating DJs set to perform from 1 to 8 pm, as well as an ‘open spin’ session inviting guests to learn to spin music themselves.
