Per Uber’s data, the majority of Canada’s “partying cities” resides in Ontario which for some may be no surprise. The top 10 list is based on volume of rides between 10 PM and 2 AM, then weighted for the number of riders in each city.

First up is London, Ontario – party capital (apparently), in second place is Toronto, third is Kitchener-Waterloo, fourth is Kingston and fifth is Saskatoon. It’s also important to remember some of the biggest universities in Canada are located in these cities so the ranking makes sense.

“Not only is London the top partying city in Canada, Londoners stay out partying the latest, with the most rides happening between 2 AM and 4 AM,” according to Uber.

Here’s the full list:

    1. London
    2. Toronto
    3. Kitchener-Waterloo
    4. Kingston
    5. Saskatoon
    6. Vancouver
    7. Winnipeg
    8. Regina
    9. Edmonton
    10. Ottawa

Next up is the “Top 5 Biggest Partying Nights in Canada” which occur between 10 PM and 2 AM. Halloween weekend of 2021 came in twice at the top including some wintery nights.

  1. Saturday, October 30, 2021
  2. Saturday, December 11, 2021
  3. Sunday, October 31, 2021
  4. Saturday, December 4, 2021
  5. Saturday, November 27, 2021

“Halloween was the top partying night in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, and Montreal in 2021,” according to Uber.

Now for food! These are orders based on the quantity between 9 AM and 1 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

  1. Burger
  2. Breakfast wrap
  3. Nuggets
  4. Chicken sandwich Hashbrown

That late-night McDonald’s order after a night out just hits different. IYKYK! Apparently, the largest hangover food order placed through Uber Eats Canada was on December 18, 2021, in Ajax. The hungry party ordered 25 chicken shawarmas and 25 falafel shawarmas which came to $1,059.02.

Incredible! For the rest of the findings, especially unexpected hangover cravings, check out Uber’s list here.
