No matter how long it’s been since we downloaded one or all of the many food delivery apps, people here in Calgary are still just as thankful as ever. Here, we know how good we have it, which is why we can’t say that we were surprised to see our city among the most generous in Canada to use Uber Eats.

According to the ‘2021 Cravings Report’ published by the company, Calgary placed 9th on a list of ‘most polite Canadian cities,’ and were the 10th best tippers overall.

Other Interesting takeaways from the report?

A Vancouverite was responsible for the most expensive order this year, ($1,600) and as it turns out Calgary is a huge fan of crunchie green vegetables.

According to Uber Eats, the most popular ‘special instruction’ given to restaurants from those in YYC, was to add extra pickles – though this certainly wasn’t uncommon in other cities as well.

Hamilton, Toronto, Winnipeg, Ottawa, and our northern neighbors in Edmonton had similar requests, among others.

To see the entirety of the report you can visit the Uber Eats website here, or to download the app (if you haven’t already,) you can do so here. Enjoy!
