Fair season will be back before you know it! The U District Street Fair returns for its 52nd annual event and is a great way to end spring surrounded by fellow Seattleites. It’s a celebration of local art, music, and culture that brings together artists, performers, and vendors from all over the region.
The U District Street Fair takes place over only two days on University Way aka The Ave. The fair takes over 10 blocks-with arts and crafts, live music, and over 40 food trucks and booths. This local tradition regularly attracts over 50,000 visitors and for the first year in its history, is accessible by link light rail which will transport visitors to the middle of the event at NE 43rd Street.

The fair is a great place to meet up with friends and simply explore all that there is to offer. Each year is a little bit different and if you feel up to it you can always walk the University campus or check out places like the Henry Art Gallery. Who knows what you’ll find!
Best of all, attending the fair is free. So mark your calendars and get ready to enjoy a tried and true Seattle tradition.
