If there’s one thing that can bring us all together after COVID is finally behind us, it’s a beer festival! If you’re among those who agree, pencil this in, friends, because Alberta Beer Festivals has announced the dates of their very first event since 2019 and you won’t want to miss it.

With split days (for precautionary reasons), ABF will kick off their 2021 season in YYC with the International Beer Festival, the largest event of its kind in all of Canada.

On October 15th and 16th, Calgarians are encouraged to hit the BMO for an evening of stories, incredible grub, information, and a couple of cold ones imported by the world’s best breweries and distilleries.

As it has in years past, ABF will also hold the Canadian International Beer Awards during the event which is definitely worth watching if you’re already planning which booths you’ll hit first next year.

Days later on October 22nd and the 23rd, the craziness will pick up all over again at the Edmonton Expo Centre for their Craft Beer Festival.

Featuring over 500 beers from 100 different breweries, ECBF is one of the fastest-growing beer festivals in the entire world.

Much like the International event, guests are in for an evening of drinking, eating, learning and more drinking – so maybe pre-schedule your Uber.

Tickets for both festivals are available now and will cost anywhere between $20 – $50 depending on which package you choose. Interested? Check out their website here for more information or to secure your place in line! Enjoy, Alberta! It’s going to be a good year!
