Even better, you can actually visit all the iconic Twilight story locations right here in Washington! Put yourself in Bella’s shoes as you drive around the small town of Forks. Or head over to Jacob’s turf and comb the sprawling beaches in La Push.
Whether you’re a fan of the books or the movies – it’s a beautiful spot for a weekend visit.
If you’re in the mood for a fun fantasy road trip, here’s where you can find all the landmark Twilight locations in Washington.
Edward wasn’t kidding with this one. According to the town’s website, Forks is in fact “the rainiest town in the contiguous United States.” Located on the Olympic Peninsula, the historic timber town of Forks is surrounded by the Olympic mountains and the Pacific Ocean beaches.
If you want to spend some time in nature there are plenty of places to go. Explore the natural beauty of over 100 miles of saltwater shores, alpine meadows, and rainforest valleys. A casual stroll through the forest is enough to convince anyone that vampires could be spotted among the towering trees.
Stop by the Forks Visitor Information Center and ask for the self-guided Twilight tour. Use it to find book locations like Bella’s High School and the Swan House.
If you were more of a team-Jacob reader, then you don’t want to miss out on visiting the stunning seaside community of La Push. This area is home to the Quileute tribe and is known for its beautiful coast beloved by surfers and great for whale watching. It’s also the main setting for the second book in the Twilight saga, New Moon.
Enjoy the beaches, but maybe leave the risky motorcycle rides to the experts and fictional characters.
Feel like a Cullen bathed in ethereal light as you walk among the towering trees of the Hoh Rain Forest. Discover rushing rivers and picturesque waterfalls as you explore miles of trails winding through old-growth forests.
The forest is the backdrop for a lot of key scenes throughout the Twilight series, like Bella and Edwards’s first fateful hike together. Maybe you’ll even come across a meadow! However, let’s remember that this IS real life. So if you spot anyone with a supernatural sparkle… it’s probably safer to head in the opposite direction.
