The ultimate cat lover event is here! There’s a massive cat convention coming to Seattle and it’s exactly as cute as it sounds.
The Sea-Meow Convention (adorable, we know) is the biggest feline-centric convention in the Pacific Northwest. It’s the mecca for cat people, and it’s happening right here in Seattle this weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
There’s lots to do at Sea Meow!
There will be a market complete with toys, treats, and anything else your fluffy friend could desire, along with special guests, cat costume contests, and live performances.
There’s even a “kitten alley” presented by several local rescues where you can cuddle with the kittens!
Yes, you can bring your cats! But there are some guidelines. There is a limit of 2 cats per group, and all cats must be transported to the event hall in a carrier and leashed at all times when out and about at the convention. You know your kitty best, so make sure they’re comfortable with people, crowds, and noise. Updated proof of rabies vaccination is also required.
Of course, Sea-Meow is also about giving back.
15% of ticket proceeds this year will be donated to 11 different feline organizations such as the Alley Cat Project, Community Cat Coalition of WA, and Feral Care Sanctuary to name a few.
Come down and celebrate your favorite furry friends with a community of fellow cat lovers. Do good and have an adorable time – what could be better?
When: Saturday, November 2nd and Sunday, November 3rd, 2024
Time: 10 AM to 5 PM
Where: Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, 301 Mercer St
Cost: $27 one-day admission, $45 weekend pass
