This beautiful Alberta garden has a twilight picnic experience for summer

We haven’t been shy about our love for the U of A Botanic Garden, and their Twilight Picnic Experience this summer could make your next trip even better. After all, the only thing that beats strolling around a beautiful garden is having some delicious food while you’re doing it!

As you can imagine, the experience is pretty straightforward. Once you arrive at the garden, you’ll receive a ‘chef-created’ picnic kit that includes a wide variety of snacks to enjoy. What’s more, the garden is pretty flexible, offering vegetarian, halal, and gluten-free options.

If that’s not enough, know that the garden also has a wide variety of add-ons, including picnic blankets, chocolates, and even some flowers to go alongside the base. And, if it’s up your alley, know that you can purchase some wine or beer to enjoy with the picnic or to stroll around afterwards.

The Twilight Picnic Experience is available on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the summer. Prices start at $125 per couple, with admission to the garden included in that price. A new date night option for the next few months? We sure think so!
