As spring turns into summer, the city is gearing up for a busy season of production, with some of the most anticipated shows set to film in Toronto.

Here are all the biggest TV shows filming in Toronto right now and through the summer.

Cruel Intentions

Amazon’s long-awaited Cruel Intentions TV show will begin filming in Toronto this spring.

The eight-episode series adaptation of the 1999 cult classic film will be in production in the city starting on June 19th.

According to ACTRA’s database of productions shooting in Toronto, filming for the new series will take place throughout the summer and wrap on September 22nd.

Chucky: Season 3

Don Mancini’s hit horror series Chucky is filming in Toronto through the spring and summer seasons.

Production began on April 24th and will continue through the end of August 2023.

Welcome to Derry

HBO Max’s IT prequel series Welcome to Derry began filming in Toronto on May 1st.

According to the City of Toronto, filming will take place until December 21st, 2023.

The show will take place in the 1960s and document the events that led up to the first film.

The Madness

Netflix’s thriller mini-series The Madness starring Colman Domingo is now in production in Toronto.

Filming will take place until July 27th in the city.

Sort Of: Season 3

CBC and HBO Max have renewed this Peabody Award-winning series for a third season, and it’s filming in Toronto this May and June.

A list of current film & TV projects by Ontario Creates says that production will take place in the city from May 8th to June 23rd, 2023.

Pachinko

This Apple TV+ series based on the New York Times bestseller Pachinko is currently filming in Toronto.

The City says that filming began in January and will wrap on May 15th, 2023.

Children Ruin Everything: Season 3

If you love Letterkenny, then you’ll love Children Ruin Everything as the same producers are behind this comedy show.

It’s clearly popular considering they’re setting up for season three. Filming is now underway and is to end on June 6th, 2023.
