Fancy a trip across the pond? Well, we’ve got good news. A reimagined British gastrobar is opening up at Toronto’s Ritz-Carlton hotel in September, whisking you away to London without the expensive airfare. EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace will serve up authentic British cuisine with a modern twist and expertly crafted cocktails “inspired from the past.”
The vibes are elegant but warm and inviting, with a large dining room and outdoor terrace surrounded by greenery and views of Simcoe Park, a cocktail lounge and a Green Room, complete with a fireplace and pool table.
The menu is full of seasonally inspired dishes made from ingredients that are “grown with care and cooked with conviction,” says the restaurant’s Chef Jeff Crump.
