The festive spirit is alive and well in Toronto, and this year, your pup’s holiday experience doesn’t have to be limited to licking the spoon while you bake sugar cookies. You can take your doggo to their very own holiday celebration this December, complete with delicious treats and a cheesy photoshoot for your Christmas cards.

The event, called Holiday Dog Festival, is actually a fundraising event put on by Dandylion Dog Care, with proceeds going to Hope For Paws animal rescue.

Your ticket covers admission for you, your pup, and a guest, one custom ornament, a professional holiday photo taken of the three of you, as well as a selection of “barkuterie” and a puppucino for your furry friend, and a hot chocolate for you and your human companion.

You’ll also be sent home with product samples and discount codes from Dandylion Dog Care.

The event will be held in Liberty Village on the afternoon of Sunday, December 5th. There’s a list of rules and entry requirements you’ll have to check beforehand, mostly to ensure that all of the pups in attendance will get along and have fun at their special event.

If you want to turn your festive outing into a whole weekend of holiday fun, you can head out to the Burlington Festival of Lights, a free Christmas light show by the waterfront where dogs are always welcome.

Tickets are just $26.48 each and considering everything that’s included, it’s a pretty sweet deal. You can book yours here.
