There’s a massive night market coming to Toronto’s waterfront

Winter is almost over (wooooooo) and before we know it, summer will be here! One of the best parts of a Toronto summer is all the festivals and markets, with one standing out every year: The Toronto Waterfront Night Market. It may feel early to be discussing a summer event, but trust me, you’re going to want to grab your tickets ASAP as this one sells quickly.

The festivities will include live music, pan-Asian cuisine and a floating lantern fest! Mark your calendars for Aug. 8 to 10, 2025 and here’s what to expect.

According to The Toronto Waterfront Night Market, the festival is “designed to emulate the traditional street-styled night markets of Asia; anchored by the Signature Pan-Asian Food Festival, featuring Wine & Wok, and Illuminasian Lantern Experience, accompanied by nightly live entertainment and cultural performances.”

The night market is happening at the Hotel X Toronto Exhibition Grounds, opening on Aug. 8 at 6 p.m., and running until 11:59 p.m. On Saturday the 9th the festivities are on from 4 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. and on Sunday the 10th from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Tickets range from $21.41 to $67.80, depending on whether you select a single-day pass or a three-day weekend pass. Speaking of tickets, they’re already on sale if you want to get ahead of the game.

Oh, and make sure you show up hungry, Toronto.
