These V-Day cards turn Toronto’s subway station names into steamy love notes

Someone with a dirty mind has given Spadina a whole new meaning and TBH, we’re here for it. If your Valentine is a proud Torontonian with a naughty sense of humour, they’ll probably get a kick out of these hilarious and steamy TTC-themed cards.

A Toronto-centric clothing and accessories brand called The Button Machine has released a collection of greeting cards with romantic puns that only locals can appreciate.

From suggestive sayings like “I’ll show you my Spadina if you show me your Coxwell,” to funny lines like “You make me feel Yonge again,” there’s a love note for practically every subway stop.

The cards even resemble the stations themselves with the TTC font against tiled backgrounds.

If you really want to show your Valentine how much they mean to you, you can get the card that says, “I love you more than a Bathurst station patty… almost.”

They also poke fun at transit woes that all of us can relate to, like waiting forever for the Dufferin bus.

The Button Machine has a massive inventory of Toronto-themed merch, like “Turonno” crewnecks, vintage postcards of the city, street sign enamel pins, and a lot more. You could make an entire 6ix-themed gift basket for your Toronto shordy if you wanted to.

The greeting cards cost $6 each, or you can get a pack of 6 subway-themed cards for $15. The look on your Valentine’s face, however, will be priceless.
