It’s that time of year again! You don’t have to travel far outside of the city to wander through a vast field of golden sunflowers at the Toronto Sunflower Festival.

Kicking off this July, the festival will feature 3 kilometres of walking trails among the tall yellow blooms.

The festival is hosted by Davis Family Farm, which is located in the rolling hills of Caledon just 30 minutes north of Toronto.

The vibrant sunflower fields span 40 acres and the property itself is home to well over 100 acres of farmland.

Davis Family Farm has been growing sunflowers for over 10 years and now also produces sunflower oil and sunflower honey.

Every summer season, the farm welcomes the public to wander the trails through their golden fields for three whole weeks.

The Toronto Sunflower Festival will also include yoga among the blooms and scenic picnics that you can reserve.

There is even a piano in the center of the field that all visitors can play and enjoy.

If you’re looking for that perfect “golden” hour shot, you can book a private photography session between 6 PM and 9 PM.

It’s the season of growth here in Ontario, and there are so many places to enjoy fragrant flowers and delicious fruit straight from the farm.

This lavender farm near Toronto allows you to cut your own bouquet, and this strawberry field lets you pluck your own harvest.

Between the nature hikes, sandy beaches, and lush fields of flowers and fruit, Ontario is paradise on earth this time of year!
