Toronto just got a new non-stop, direct flight option to and from this U.S city starting this month. Alaska Airlines has launched daily service from Toronto to Seattle and here’s what to know.

As of May 16th, flight seekers are able to book tickets between Seattle and Toronto Pearson International Airport, the airlines newest destination and the sixth Canadian city the airline flies to.

And those flying on Alaska Airlines can also connect flights with Porter Airlines in Toronto, the Arlines’ newest global partner.

Porter Airlines flies to destinations across Eastern Canada, including Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax and St. John’s.

“We are very excited to welcome Alaska Airlines to Toronto Pearson. Their service to Seattle will provide much-needed capacity to the market and enhance customer choice,” said Kurush Minocher, Executive Director, Customer Experience and Airline Relations, Greater Toronto Airports Authority.

“Last year, over a third of passengers traveled between Toronto and Seattle, and we’re delighted to enable this service for thousands of passengers while simplifying travel to the West Coast, Alaska and Hawaii.”

The new Seattle-Toronto nonstop service departs from SEA-TAC daily at 6:50 AM and arrives in Toronto at 2:30 PM.

Departures from Toronto are at 3:40 PM, with arrival time in Seattle at 5:55 PM.

Across Canada, Alaska Airlines also flies to Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria.

Flights to Seattle from Toronto Pearson Airport are available now, and start at $497 one-way.
