Ever wondered what it’s like to be so rich that you can spend $35 million on a penthouse you’ve never stepped foot into? Well, here’s a peek into how those folks live. Toronto’s most expensive condo for sale is not even fully built yet, but renderings of the place show just how magnificent it’ll be when it’s complete.

Now on the market for a whopping $34,700,000, this lower-penthouse suite is actually two units combined into one, Strata.ca realtor Clifford Liu told Curiocity. It’s located inside The One Condos at 1 Bloor St, which is slated to be the tallest habitable building in Canada.

The tower will have over 400 residential units with amenities that include valet parking, private club rooms, a gym with a yoga studio, and an outdoor Sky Garden with trees and an infinity pool.

The original proposed height was 85 storeys but has since been approved for 9 more, according to Strata. realtor Jenn Costigan.

This full-floor residence will have nearly 9,000 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, a den, and seven bathrooms.

The sleek interior features marble, wood, and metallic tones throughout, with spectacular views of the city and tons of natural sunlight in every room.

“This penthouse will certainly put Toronto on the map,” added Liu, but “pales in comparison” to the opulent penthouses in cities like Miami, Dubai, Singapore, and  Shenzen.

While it may not be the first of its kind on a global scale, the condo’s unique design features are a first for Canada, according to Strata realtor Jenn Costigan.

The support for the building is mainly on the exterior, which means that “space and light are maximized on the interior with very few obstructing pillars.” There’s no doubt that these million-dollar views add significant value to the property.

As for who might own this penthouse one day, Strata realtor Nathaniel Hartree-Hallifax says properties like these “are likely to be bought in an all cash deal by a global super elite.” We can only imagine who that might be — perhaps one of Canada’s richest billionaires?

According to Costigan, The One Condos won’t be ready to live in until Spring 2023. When that day comes, you best believe we’ll be finding our way inside for a tour!
