Toronto just got its very first zero-waste coffee house

The future of environmentally-friendly coffee is here, Toronto! If you thought getting rid of straws was a big move for the planet, wait ’till you hear about this new joint. Poured Coffee is the city’s first zero-waste coffee house. They’re the perfect spot to hit if you’re on the hunt for a brew that won’t damage the planet.

So how is it all possible? We’re glad you asked. For starters, the spot has opted for reusable mugs instead of takeout cups. You can bring your own mug, purchase a mug on-site, or use one from their donated selection when you grab a coffee to-go.

On top of that, their coffee is made with high-quality, package-free beans. Plus, their milk is locally sourced and stored in glass bottles. Pretty impressive, right?
