Did you hear, Toronto?

Food World Plus is opening in the GTA

If you needed a new spot to shop for all your K-Beauty care and grocery essentials, you’ll want to make a trip to ‘Sauga. Food World Plus is described as “Mississauga’s Premier Global Grocery Destination.” And it’s set to open soon — though we’re not exactly sure how soon. According to many comments on Instagram, the team is still working away at bringing this shopping spot to life.

They do, however, boast that the store will have flavours from all over the world. Its website highlights Asian, Latin American, Mediterranean, African, Middle Eastern, European, and South Asian.

Fingers crossed it opens really soon.

RendezViews collabed with Casamigos and revamped the space

Toronto’s largest outdoor patio has transformed for the FIFA World Cup! And when I say transformed, I mean from head to toe in what I can only describe as a Casamigos blue. And it makes complete sense because Casamigos is the official tequila supporter of the FIFA World Cup for 2026.

The patio is now fully equipped with a mini soccer field, and of course, beach volleyball. It looks like it’s the place to be to watch all the FIFA action this June.

‘Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent’ was just renewed for another season

Toronto’s favourite Law show is back for another season. Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent will return for season four this fall, and the show’s getting a new character.

Detective Sergeant John Darcy, played by Emmy Award-winning actor Luke Kirby, is called up from Guns & Gangs to partner with Detective Sergeant Frankie Bateman, played by Kathleen Munroe, in Homicide.

Looks like I have to do a rerun before the new season premieres.

Toronto’s getting a new social house opening this spring

Charlie Social House — remember that name! This new social house is opening up in CityPlace and Fort York, just steps away from the Rogers Centre.

We’re talking late-night vibes, cocktails, DJs, delicious eats and more. An opening date has yet to be set, but we do know where it’s opening: 17 Fort York Blvd.

Expect its open sign to light up this spring 2026.

Ripley’s Aquarium just got a new exhibit

Ripley’s Aquarium of Toronto has a new exhibit for the first time in two years. It’s called Graffiti Reef: Painted by Nature, and it “uses Toronto’s street art culture to help tell the story of coral reef ecosystems.” Vibrant murals are paired with colourful marine life, bringing life to the pieces.

The large-scale murals are by local artists Nick Sweetman, Jieun Kim, and Brother Moises. It’s truly a sight to see!

And that’s all for now, Toronto. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered for next week. It’s never a dull moment in the city.
