This downtown TTC streetcar will be free today & here’s why

You’ve got a complimentary streetcar ride coming your way, thanks to the Toronto Blue Jays home opener!

In celebration of the team’s home opener on Tuesday, April 11th, all passengers will get to ride the 510 Spadina streetcar between 5 PM and midnight.

Whether you’re travelling to the game or exploring the city, you won’t have to worry about paying for your ride.

Given that TTC fare prices just went up, the timing couldn’t be better.

Polar Ice Vodka, which is the team’s “official Canadian vodka,” has teamed up with the TTC on the initiative, in anticipation of an exciting season ahead.

And if you’re lucky, you will also be gifted some game day essentials by the folks at Polar Ice Vodka, who will be surprising fans at select stops on April 11th.
