A Blue Jays fan won $2.9M in the 50/50 draw & doesn’t know it yet

A Toronto Blue Jays fan is sitting on a winning 50/50 draw ticket worth a whopping $2,873,030 right now but has yet to claim their grand prize.

The lucky fan bought the ticket at the Rogers Centre on April 11th, 2023, during the Blue Jays game against the Detroit Tigers, but has yet to come forward to collect their earnings.

The Blue Jays have been sharing the details on social media and have posted the unofficial winning number for fans to check at home.

The 50/50 draw has become a popular feature at Blue Jays home games. Half of the proceeds are donated to the Jays Care Foundation and go directly to supporting communities across Ontario.

The other half goes to the winner of the draw, who is chosen at random.

The April 11 grand prize is around $1 million shy of the biggest 50/50 draw in MLB history — a lucky fan won a $3.9 million mega jackpot last season.

The Toronto Blue Jays are urging the winner to claim their “life-changing” prize as soon as possible because there is a time limit for claiming the winnings.

If the winner fails to come forward within 6 months, the prize money will be donated bay to the Jays Care Foundation with the approval of the AGCO.

Fans of the Blue Jays and supporters of the Jays Care Foundation are eagerly waiting to see who the lucky winner is and hoping that they will claim their prize soon.

Whoever you are, you better grab your earnings while you still can!
