Hate it or love it, Toronto is expected to get hit with another snow dump next week and up to 10 cm is expected.

It’s been a pretty messy week here in Toronto after some heavy snow, and freezing rain blanketed much of the city on Wednesday. And although it was starting to look up, Mother Nature is bringing another swath of winter activity our way.

According to The Weather Network, another low-pressure system is expected to develop this weekend and is expected to bring a mix of more rain, snow, and ice.

“While the exact details are still fuzzy this far out, it’s likely going to be a disruptive storm for a region still cleaning up from this week’s major snow and ice event,” shares TWN.

Per the seven day forecast, we’re expected to see the storm make landfall by Monday which, according to TWN, will most likely occur halfway through Monday, and into Tuesday for most areas.

And though Tuesday looks like it’ll be a little rainier, Wednesday we’re expected to get hit with some more scattered flurries to start off the month of March.

Will that be the end of it? Unfortunately no. According to TWN’s 14-day forecast, we could get hit with a few more inches of snow in the first few days of March but it’s a little too early to be certain.

That being said, you’ll want to keep your winter boots out for a little bit longer.
