Toronto’s AGO will FREE for an entire weekend & here’s what you can check out

The AGO is officially reopening in Toronto and in an effort to reconnect Ontario to all the exhibits and artworks, the museum will be free all weekend long. Here’s what to know.

On May 4th and May 5th, admission to the entire museum will be free.

That means you can feast your eyes on all the new special exhibits such as Making Her Mark: A History of Women Artists in Europe, 1400-1800, and ongoing exhibitions like KAWS: FAMILY, Feels Like Home, and Painted Presence: Rembrandt and His Peers.

Lots to see and do at the AGO.

In order to enjoy all the fun exhibits for free, all visitors, including children, need to get a ticket. And yes, it’s still free.

All you need to do is book your free ticket online. You can either print your ticket at home or have it scanned off your mobile device.

It’s important to note that there may be wait times for entry.

But Toronto loves to line up, so be ready for that. Either way, you’ll be spending your weekend at the AGO and that’s not such a bad deal.

Get your tickets ASAP.
