There’s a free viewing party for the Canucks playoffs in Metro Vancouver & here’s what to know

Guess what, ‘Nucks fans? If you’re hoping to score a spot for Game 5 of the Canucks playoffs against the Predators that’s not your couch but also doesn’t come with a $400+ price tag, tune into this viewing party.

The City of Burnaby is hosting a free viewing party for Game 5 on the second floor of the newly opened Rosemary Brown Recreation Centre, a 92,000-square-foot recreation centre on 10th Avenue and 18th Street.

As the team is currently in the lead for Round 1 with three wins against the Nashville Predators, Game 5 is sure to be a teeth-gritter!

Note that the new recreation centre will host family-friendly screenings for the remainder of Round 1, if the Canucks move forward today!

Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the cafe.

So there you have it, ‘Nucks fans! Keep in mind that parking is limited and doors open at 6:30 pm, with the puck drop scheduled for 7 pm.
