Here’s something unique to check out this spring! The Tofino Resort + Marina has unveiled a one-of-a-kind floating sauna for its guests, and reservations have already opened up. If you’re curious about it, then we’ve got the details.

While the resort is located in Tofino, this experience has a more rugged setting. You’ll start on a boat ride into the Clayoquot Sound, in Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation territory (which doubles as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve). And once you’re there, the experience truly begins.

You (and your friends, family, or whoever) will get to enjoy a supremely private few hours on this floating sauna outside Tofino. Alongside the wood-fired sauna, you’re encouraged to take a dip in the water, enjoy the kayaks and paddleboards, and relax in the hammock.

There’s also a pretty fun add-on here. For a little extra money, you can catch crabs and prawns to bring back with you. Then, the chef at the resort (in Tofino) will cook up a meal for you using them, which sounds like the perfect way to end the day.

This floating sauna experience can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time, and prices start at $800 for 5 hours. For more information, just head to the Tofino Resort + Marina website!
