Here’s something unique to check out this summer! The Tofino Resort + Marina unveiled a one-of-a-kind floating sauna for its guests earlier this year, and there are still spots available if you’re interested in staying at the resort this season. Let’s get into the deets.

While the resort is located in Tofino, this experience has a more rugged setting. You’ll start on a boat ride into the Clayoquot Sound, in Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation territory (which doubles as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve). Once you’re there, the experience truly begins.

Folks will get to enjoy a supremely private few hours on this floating sauna outside Tofino. Alongside the wood-fired sauna, guests are welcome to take a dip in the water, enjoy kayaking and paddle-boarding, and relax in the hammock.

There’s also a pretty fun add-on here. For a little extra money, you can catch crabs and prawns to bring back with you. Then, the chef at the resort (in Tofino) will use them to cook up a delicious meal – which sounds like the perfect way to end the day!

This floating sauna experience can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time, and prices start at $800 for 5 hours. For more information, just head to the Tofino Resort + Marina website!

We’ll see you there, Vancouver!
