Tim Hortons just revealed the most popular menu items of 2020

2020 was wild from start to finish, but one thing that remained constant was Canada’s dedication to Tim Hortons. Folks across the country turned to Timmies all year long for their daily dose of coffee and donuts. The classic spot was as popular as ever this year, and these are the menu items that Canadians ordered most.

Taking the cake for the most popular coffee order was, you guessed it, the double-double. This menu item has been a top-dog for years, so it’s no surprise it kept its title in 2020. As for donuts, the most popular one overall was…drumroll please… the Boston Cream! Anyone else craving a drive-thru run right about now?

Of course, the Boston Cream wasn’t the most popular pick in every region. In Ontario and the western provinces, the Apple Fritter was a top choice. In Quebec, the Honey Crueller. It was the Atlantic provinces who chose Boston Cream as number one. Which, along with being the second choice in other places, gave this donut its top overall spot.

So does your Tim Hortons order fit in with the trends? Or are you a rule-breaker when it comes to morning coffee?
