Are you an artist, creative, or writer in Toronto? Between the ages of 18 and 65? Obsessed with Tim Horton’s coffee? We know just the opportunity for you. Groundglass Casting is on the hunt for the subjects of their next Timmies commercial and it’s got your name written all over it.
So here’s what you need to know. The project is accepting applications from now until March 31st (but it’s usually better to submit to these things sooner than later). If you’re selected, you’ll get to meet with the director for a brief meeting before moving on to the next stages. If you make it through all that, you might just be chosen for the exciting opportunity!

The Tim Hortons commercial is looking for people who are enthusiastic, outgoing, and articulate. Think real people, not just actors. (Although experience on camera is always a plus!)
You should be ready and willing to be interviewed on camera to talk about your creative endeavours and, of course, your love of coffee.
According to the notice, if you’re selected there are some specific dates you MUST be available for. So make sure you’re double-checking your calendar in advance. If you’re picked, you’ll be looking at anywhere from $750 – $2,250 for your time. Not too shabby!
So there you have it! If you check off all the boxes above, this amazing opportunity could be the one for you. To learn more and to submit yourself for consideration, head to the Groundglass Casting official notice here.
