007: There’s a $700 TIFF cocktail in Toronto that’s honouring a legendary spy

The countdown to Toronto’s annual TIFF is on! Local restaurants and bars are coming up with speciality cocktails and menus in honour of the film festival but some manage to outdo the others – in price at least. There’s a $700 TIFF-inspired cocktail at one of the most luxurious establishments in Toronto and it’s in honour of a legendary spy. Any guesses?

You’ll have to make your way to the St Regis Toronto’s LOUIX LOUIS during TIFF to get your hands on this cocktail. Of course, if you’re willing to spend a pretty penny.

This year, the St. Regis’ official whisky partner is The Macallan which also happens the be the official choice of James Bond.

Inspired by the legendary spy, LOUIx LOUIS has unveiled its exclusive food and beverage menu but what stands out is its very expensive cocktail.

The De-classified Case

LOUIX LOUIS’ $700 cocktail, the De-classified Case is all about presentation.

It’s composed of a 25-year-old Sherry Oak The Macallan and is presented in a briefcase with smoke and an edible garnish.

To keep the experience on theme, the St. Regis lobby will be transformed during the festival into a 007-themed experience.

There will be a photo booth by Ryan Emberly, giving guests a chance to get professional photos taken.

Now dress to impress and get ready for the red carpet.

The De-classified Case – LOUIX LOUIS

When: During TIFF – September 5th to 15th, 2024
Where: LOUIX LOUIS – St Regis Toronto, 325 Bay St.
Cost: $700
