This Vancouver house used in ‘The Flash’ TV show is being given away for (almost) free

Listen, we all know that the Vancouver real estate market is absolutely bonkers. But instead of $20 million dollar homes and $2000/month shoebox apartments, it’s time to look at something completely different. This time around, there is a historic heritage home for sale in Vancouver, but it’s $0. Yep, it’s free. The only catch? You’ve got to pay to move it.

A Vancouver family has lived in this Cambie Village spot for almost 10 years and have even seen it reach a small level of stardom as the home of the main character in the CW TV series The Flash.

Now, after deciding they needed a lot more space and a renovation was out of the question, the family has decided to give it away for (practically) nothing. So, the nearly 100-year-old home will have to be moved off the lot for the current owners to be able to build their dream home.

That means somebody might be getting a pretty big bargain! According to the listing, it would cost around $150,000 for the house to be moved, depending on the new location. Sure, that means you have to have a lot ready to go, but it’s a pretty nice price considering what Vancouver real estate is like.

So, it’s not free, but that is a heck of a deal. If you want to learn more about the listing or check it out for yourselves, just click here. Plus, according to CTV, the current owners are giving this away on a first-come, first-serve basis. So move quickly, folks!

Happy house hunting, Vancouver!
