This Seattle spot makes mouthwatering handmade ‘bread boats’

Bread could really be its whole own food group and during the pandemic, it’s only grown in popularity. And that’s why we’re so intrigued with Skalka and their mouthwatering handmade ‘bread boats’. Just imagine doughy goodness filled with your favorite foods.

Skalka is a Georgian bakery and dumpling house that serves up unique menu items right on Seattle’s stunning waterfront. And while their whole menu looks amazing we’re most intrigued by the bread boats or Khachapuri. The boats are eaten by tearing off the edges and dipping them in the center of the boat. Some of the filling ingredients include items like cheese, chicken, vegetables, and more. It’s like a bread bowl but way better.

And best of all, they’re each made to order so you’ll get them hot and straight out of the oven. Plus if you’re feeling really adventurous you can try a sweet boat with items like cheese, dried fruit, walnuts, and vanilla. It’ll be unlike anything you’ve had before.
