Right off the bat, you’ll notice that the home is full of golden knotty pine from floor to ceiling. This feature along with the large windows and wood-burning fireplace really gives the home its PNW vibes. All you need in order to make it homey is up to 5 of your friends or family members to liven up the space.

While the inside is cool, the outside is what really makes this stay spectacular. First off, you’re on Orcas Island, just 10 miles from Turtleback Mountain Preserve and you also have a whole bunch of space to explore on the property itself. Hike around the property, head down to the nearby beach or head into town to see what Orcas is all about. You have plenty of options.

Now we will say that the listing states that the internet can be spotty due to the remote nature of the property. So unless you’re able to work without internet, this probably isn’t a great WFH spot. But it is a great spot to do a tech detox and get back in touch with your friends and fam. Or you can always pick up the phone and call whoever you need on the provided landline. Yes, a real landline.
