Cravings can sometimes get the best of us. Luckily, Calgary has no shortage of sweet stops that you check out when the hankerings are just too much. One of those places? Chocoland, the inner city’s answer to “what if Willy Wonka’s factory had a patio?”
Located on 8th Avenue, Chocoland is certainly not one that we’d recommend to anyone who isn’t looking for a sugar rush.

Upon entering, you’re teased with white and milk chocolate fountains, which, as the name would suggest – says a lot about what you’ll be able to order.
From large-and-in-charge ice cream sundaes, waffles, brownies and molten lava cakes to crapes, dessert sushi and cheesecake, almost everything here is insanely indulgent, oversized and covered in sauce.
The best part? They’re open until 1 AM, so when you need a fix the most, you’ll be able to find it here.
Check it out, folks!
