This local craft cider is on sale at the LCBO this month & we’ve got the hots for it

Backyards, BBQs, friends, family – if you thought these are all the ‘things summer dreams are made up of,’ well then, we are on the same page. And because no summer dream is complete without a crisp, cool sip, we have the perfect drink that’ll take you from summer to fall without breaking a sweat. Lo and behold, Puddicombe craft cider.

It’s tart, it’s refreshingly fruity, it’s subtly carbonated, it’s everything we need in our stress-be-gone drink. To top it up, it’s far from boring. Of course, you can stick to the classic apple (which is on sale at the LCBO until September 12th), but you can also surprise your palate with a variety of interesting flavours- apple cranberry, apple pineapple (a must-try), hopped apple, cherry, peach and hopped pear. Impressed, aren’t you?

Apple is available at the LCBO and all the other flavours are available at your local grocery store or their online shop.

Now, if you’ve been in the GTA for some time, you’ve most likely seen the Puddicombe Farms, maybe taken a tour of it or plucked a fruit or 10 or even went cider tasting (something we strongly recommend). If for some reason you’ve missed out though, allow us to fill you in.

So Puddicombe Farms is a 200-year old estate with fruit farms known for their beautiful views. But here’s the thing you really need to know− the secret to Puddicome’s strong fruity character is that the cider is crafted with 12 different local varieties of apple and a variety of other fruits, all locally grown on their farm. Figures!

Grab ‘em at the LCBO, grocery store, or check out their website here to learn more!

Cheers, Toronto!
