This elevated Seattle steak & sushi place is one of the best to grab an after work happy hour

A couple of years ago when the 31st floor of the Lincoln Square South in Bellevue became home to the Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi, there was some buzz. The buzz doubled up when they opened doors to the public, courtesy of their upscale decor, the exquisite views of Lake Washington and the city set against a mountainous backdrop, the mind-blowingly delicious food and the craft cocktails. From being recognized as the most romantic restaurant to the best fine dining establishment to that of one having award-winning desserts, Ascend Prime earned itself quite a few acclaimed titles.

Three years later, we are still raving about its elevated (literally and figuratively) dining and lounge experience.

Alright Seattle, now imagine this: You’ve put in a long hard day at work. You drag your tired self all the way up to the 31st floor of the Lincoln Square South with your friends/ work buds to unwind. Amidst views that last for days and an ambience that could lift large boulders, let alone your mood, you dig into a heaven-in-your-mouth delicious steak prepared from olive-fed beef. As you eat and chit-chat your way to de-stress city, you also enjoy a smooth, craft cocktail.

Are you imagining it all? Good! Now, imagine reveling in this surreal sky-high dining experience minus the sky-high prices. Yes, wow indeed! The steakhouse and sushi bar recently relaunched its enticing Happy Hour menu. As if we needed any more reason to love this architectural gourmet gem.

The Happy Hour goes on from 3 pm to 6 pm and then again from 9 pm onwards. With a long list of cocktails & wines, $6 draft beers, and delicious appies and snacks, we just can’t get enough. You can check out the full Happy Hour menu right here.
