This company will set up a lavish personalized tent anywhere you want in Alberta

If we’ve learned anything in the last year it’s that sometimes the best staycation destination is right in your own backyard. Though we love the airport experience, the great outdoors and taking a road trip every once in a while, there’s really no place like home. Alberta company Lavish Canvas has really elevated this idea, offering over-the-top camping experiences to those who might not want to stray too far from their front door as well as those who are looking to take comfort camping in and around the province to the next level.

From campsites to your very own property, Lavish Canvas will set up and take down the ultimate glampsite complete with furnishings and decorations to suit every occasion whether that be a romantic getaway, a bachelorette party or a birthday.

Choose from a 10, 13 or 16-foot tent for mid-sized get-togethers or their ‘Mahal,’ for a wedding or reception (because yeah, they do those too!) then, pick your theme!

Their signature boho style setup is the standard, but – if you choose to do something a little more personalized, Natalie owner of the company, told us that she’s done other pretty cool concepts as well including a Harry Potter-like party with ‘floating candles’ and a bridal theme of pastels and flowers.

Camping is an Alberta right of passage, but who knew you could do it in such style?!

If you’re interested in arranging to have a  5-star tent waiting for you at your location of choice, you check out their website here! Prices vary depending on your length of stay (2-night minimum Thursdays – Sundays) and the size of the tent – but it’s totally worth it! After all – who actually likes pitching their own tent anyways?

Happy camping, happy campers!
