This spring elevate your weekend walk through Fish Creek by stopping into one of Calgary’s many hidden gems, Annie’s Cafe. An underrated ice cream and coffee shop located in the heart of one of YYC’s best parks.

From cones and bowls of the good stuff to smoothies, soft drinks, pastries, and even handheld munchies like hot dogs and paninis, Annie’s really has it all.

Here not only can you grab a bite or a drink, but you can also get your steps in and feel totally guilt-free about eating your weight in Neopolitan.

Moved to its current spot in 1905 by a ranch foreman and his wife, Annie, this wholesome farmhouse feels as though it’s been left untouched. The interior is warm, authentically old-timey, and comfortable which really adds to the whole experience.

Also, the staff are super welcoming despite being open 7 days a week and are always chipper and eager to put a smile on your face.

In short, you guys should definitely stop by this season because there really is nothing better than a cool cone on a hot day.
