Sweet City Fest

Toronto’s stackt market is bringing back the city’s sweetest festival next month, full of eats, drinks, and fun-filled activities. The Sweet City Fest returns and here’s what to know about this exciting experience.

For 10 straight days, from February 9th to 19th, the stackt market will host the sweet festival with over 100 vendors.

Name a Roach Toronto Zoo

Say goodbye to the flowers and the chocolate – Name a Roach Toronto Zoo gives anyone the chance to name a cockroach for $25 in their special someone’s honour for Valentine’s Day and in support of the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy.

All you have to do is go to Toronto Zoo’s website, where you will fill out what you would like to name the roach, and whose honour it is in – it’s that simple!

V-Day Floral Workshop

Create a work of art at this V-Day Floral Workshop at stackt market. The Love Blooms workshop allows guests to create a one-of-a-kind floral masterpiece throughout a two hour session. And no experience is needed.

Ditch the traditional V-day dinner for this Murder Mystery dinner and show at the Chelsea Hotel.

“The intrigue begins when you are introduced to a cast of colourful characters,” shares organizers. “The plot thickens when somebody dies! A detective is brought in to lead the investigation. The suspects are spread around the room, sitting right at the tables with the guests. You get to participate and see if you can solve…WHODUNIT?!”

According to the skating trail, its winter programming begins on December 16, and this year, skaters are invited back to cruise the 220m figure-eight skate trail under the Gardiner Expressway.
