Corteo by Cirque du Soleil

The internationally acclaimed production of Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo is coming to Seattle and you won’t want to miss it.

Filled with baroque circus acts, whimsical costumes and characters, and beautiful music, the story of Corteo unfolds from the perspective of Mauro the clown, who envisions his own burial amidst a carnival atmosphere and attended by tender angels, according to the Cirque du Soleil website.

When: Wednesday, January 17th to Saturday, January 20th

Comedian Alex Moffat – From NBC’s SNL

Want some laughs on Friday? A breakout performer on SNL, Alex Moffat succeeded Jim Carrey as Joe Biden on SNL, and he is best known for his impersonations.

Currently filming The Bear opposite Jeremy Allen White, don’t miss him this week.

Quixote Nuevo 

Quixote Nuevo is described as “a humorous and heartfelt quest towards becoming the hero of your own story.” Previews start on Friday at the Bagley Wright Theater.

Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music

Is singing along of your favourite things? If so, Sing-a-Long-a Sound of Music is for you this weekend! The smash-hit screening of the classic Julie Andrews film musical, returns for one weekend only at 5th Avenue Theatre.

When: Saturday, January 20th and Sunday, January 21st, 2024

The Comedy of Errors

Jimmy Shields makes his Seattle Shakespeare directorial debut following his appearance as Sir Andrew Aguecheek in 2023’s Twelfth Night, according to the event website.

“Originally adapted for Wooden O, this small ensemble version of The Comedy of Errors cleaves right to the heart of the comedy and features actors playing their own twins to hilarious effect,” it states.

When: On now until January 28, 2024

Great Train Show

The Puyallup Great Train Show will have over 300 tables of trains for sale, with over 60 exhibitors from across the country.

There will be free workshops and demonstrations too.

When:  Saturday, January 20th and Sunday, January 21st, 2024

Lake Chelan Winterfest

Looking for a day trip? Lake Chelan Winterfest is on until Sunday, and you can check out intricate ice sculptures, enjoy the infamous ice bar, listen to live music, and ride a snow slide across both downtown Chelan and Manson.

And on Saturday, there will be fireworks!

DJ Pauly D

Looking for entertainment? Jersey Shore’s very own Pauly D is coming to Seattle for a DJ set. No promises on how good it will be but it will certainly be an experience.

Seattle Krakens

Get some sports action in before the weekend is over! The Seattle Krakens are playing at home against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Harry Potter: Magic at Play

The Harry Potter experience has more than 20 touchpoints of hands-on magical activity, including “games, exploration, sensory activations, and more.” Your journey begins at the iconic 4 Privet Drive where you’ll explore the Dursley’s living room and eventually be whisked away on a boat as you cross the Great Lake to arrive at Hogwarts.
