Welcome to the end of January and the beginning of February. With a new month comes new things to see, do and experience. From concerts to the Seattle Boat Show, here are 10 of the best things to do in Seattle this week.

Walla Walla Wine On Tour

Why not celebrate the last week of January immersing yourself in the vibrant wine culture of the Walla Walla Valley? On Monday evening, you can mingle with wine enthusiasts to discover new releases, and learn about wine in the region. Ticket includes tastings and hors d’oeuvres.

Workout Wednesdays

Fitness-focused Seattleites will be able to attend weekly Workout Wednesdays Winter Fitness Sessions presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health which are being hosted at Seattle Center.

Best of all, the classes are drop in so there’s no need to book ahead. The classes being offered are yoga and Zumba both of which are open to all ages and experience levels.

Astra Lumina: A Night Walk Amongst The Stars

There’s still time to check out Astra Lumina: A Night Walk Amongst The Stars. This enchanted night walk is in a beautiful botanical garden, and you can immerse yourself “in the magic of projections, lighting, and music, and the astral energy that transforms the garden into a celestial pathway.”

The Moth StorySLAM

On the first Thursday of each month, Seattleites can check out the Moth StorySLAM. Each month has a different story theme so you’ll experience something new and truly unique each time. This month’s theme: Love hurts.

BabyTron

Michigan rapper BabyTron is known for his lyrical wit, and gained popularity after his 2019 track “Jesus Shuttlesworth” went viral. You can catch BabyTron at the start of February to kick off your musical month.

Free Public Tours of Washington Park Arboretum

Speaking of first Thursdays… The Arboretum is one of Seattle’s best spots for getting outdoors, especially in the summer. While you can walk it by yourself at any time, you can also enjoy free tours on the first Thursday of each month from 11:30 AM-1 PM. On February 1st, the tour will explore will explore Winter Bloomers and Decorative Barks.

Volunteer Park Conservatory

Winter might be here for a while but it doesn’t mean that you can’t get a little heat. The Volunteer Park Conservatory is open year-round and is full of beautiful tropical plants. It’s a great place to stroll with a date and enjoy a little peace and quiet in one of Seattle’s best parks.

Besides its usual $6 entrance, there are free days at the Park and they are on the 1st Thursdays and 1st Saturdays of each month.

Nora En Pure

South African-born, Switzerland-based Queen of deep house, Nora En Pure, is in Seattle soon and you can get lost in her immaculate beats and sounds.

Globally renowned and adored for her cinematic soundscapes and ethereal performances, so be sure not to miss this one. Syd Gris, Chris Tower, and Johnny Monsoon are also on the bill.

Swan Lake

Sit back and let the Pacific Northwest Ballet transport you to the wondrous world of Kent Stowell’s Swan Lake.

“This ballet classic is carefully crafted to keep you on the edge of your seat, from the epic dancing, to the stunning scenery and costumes, to the iconic score (perfectly played by the PNB Orchestra),” states the event website.

And it’s on for a few days this February.

The Seattle Boat Show

Looking for boats or yachts? Perhaps something in between? The Seattle Boat Show is almost here, and will be about all things nautical.
