Seventeen

This is probably not news to true K-Pop fans, but the iconic 13-member band Seventeen is rolling up to Rogers Arena on Wednesday, August 10th. And they’ve got all the show-stopping moves to make this performance a memorable one.

Named after lead singer Maria Zardoya, The Marias has taken the world by storm since their debut album in 2016. And the Spanglish Indie pop group is slated to perform at the Commodore this Friday, August 12th – so get ready for vibes on vibes.

Pilates in The Plaza

Free pilates at the plaza?? Sign us up! This outdoor pop-up class is open to folks of all levels of experience and abilities and will have participants working on core strength, muscular endurance, and more. Registration is required, and it’s BYOMAWB (bring your own mat and water bottle). Check it out from 6 to 7 pm at Jack Poole Plaza on Thursday, August 11th.

It might not be a novel new idea, but it’s the perfect time of year for a leisure bike-ride through Stanley Park, or around the seawall. Just keep an eye out for pedestrians and folks on those e-scooters – they can really sneak up on you!
