OLD STRATHCONA FARMERS MARKET

This YEG staple is celebrating its 40th year as the home to Edmonton’s original indoor farmers market.

CHISELED: Edmonton’s International Ice Carving Competition

Formally known as Ice on Whyte — this annual ice carving festival is making its return to the ICE District.

Walk through the displays as talented sculptors chisel away at their frozen blocks and marvel as they transform it into a finished masterpiece. It’s a frosty spectacle that you’ll want to have bookmarked in your calendar.
