Edmonton Oilers v. Vancouver Canucks

Round two of the playoffs continue, and the Oilers are at home this Tuesday, and tickets are still available for Rogers Place. If you prefer to cheer on for free, there’s the Fan Park and Tailgate party!

Laube Plays Liszt

Performer and pedagogue Nathan Laube will be at the Winspear Centre this week for his debut performance on the Davis Concert Organ. According to the Centre, the program will include “Laube’s own transcription of Franz Liszt’s Sonata in B Minor, one of his most magnificent works for the keyboard.”

Volleyball Canada Nationals

Volleyball Canada Youth National Championships are back in Edmonton at the EXPO Centre for the third time this year! The 2024 Nationals will welcome 1264 teams to Edmonton, and over 30,000 people will be here over a 12 day period from across the country, according to the EXPO Centre.

The Street Car Cask Party Series

It’s back! The first night of the Street Car cask beer series is here, taking place on Thursday. Join the Common in celebrating some of Albertas best breweries aboard Edmonton’s high-level street car, and you’ll get a pour from two limited casks on the rail car.

124 Grand Market

Mill Woods Carnival

Kick off the long weekend at the Mill Woods Carnival! The family-friendly event will have several rides including a carousel, Expo Wheel, Hurricane, and the Orbiter.

Rachmaninoff & Dance

Rachmaninoff & Dance is a presentation of ESO Pairings – described as “a great introduction to classical music.” It offers shorter programs with no intermissions, and a later start time. “Plus, one free food or beverage item is included with every ticket.” This Friday, you can enjoy a collection of three colourful movements that are both delightful and captivating.
