National Indigenous Peoples Day at the Royal Alberta Museum

June is Indigenous History Month in Canada, a time to learn, listen, celebrate and share Indigenous resilience and excellence. On June 21, National Indigenous Peoples Day, the Royal Alberta Museum will be hosting stories, crafting, movies, and more. Activities are included with admission, free for Indigenous Peoples.

National Indigenous Peoples Day

Telus World of Science is also recognizing and celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day. “On June 21, recognize and celebrate the culture and worldviews of Indigenous Peoples who would traditionally steward the lands of amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, Beaver Hills House (Edmonton) through a variety of community experiences,” states the Telus World of Science. An Indigenous Vendors Market will also be on site.
