ART GALLERY OF ALBERTA
The AGA has got a serious amount of stuff to check out in April. In addition to the ongoing exhibitions, you can check out a new one call PUSH in April. According to the gallery, “PUSH aims to broaden our understanding of what art can be, advancing our appreciation for its limitless possibilities.” It also offers FREE admission from 4-7pm on the last Thursday of every month!

THE INTERRUPTERS AND FRANK TURNER
Over the winter, The Interrupters announced a co-headlining tour with none other than Frank Turner. Lucky for Edmonton, the tour will be stopping here at Midway this week.

Get ready to rock! Rock Of Ages is now playing in Edmonton. The Tony Award nominated musical has been selling out theatres from New York to Vegas to London’s West End! This show “captures the iconic era that was the big, bad 1980’s through the story of a small-town girl, a city boy, and a rock ‘n’ roll romance on the Sunset Strip.”

EDMONTON MUSIC & SPEECH ARTS FESTIVAL
The 115th AnnualEdmonton Music & Speech Arts Festival (formerly known as the Edmonton Kiwanis Music Festival) is back, and it creates over 2,500 opportunities for over 20,000 music students, actors, musicians, and music lovers to perform in front of an audience and receive professional adjudication. See the stars of the future!

Polyrhythm Brewing just opened its doors a few weeks ago, and if you’re looking for a new space to check out, consider this a sign. Besides beer, they also serve food, and have a patio for those sunny days.
