The WNBA is bringing a game north of the border! Following last season’s successful first-ever WNBA game played in Canada, the league is bringing another preseason match-up to Canadian soil – this time right here in Edmonton.

Special occasions, big announcements, celebrations of every type – we know there’s only one kind of place to do them justice: a modern steakhouse. Chop Steakhouse & Bar just announced their returning Steak Masters program complete with a new limited-time menu. The new menu will be available at Chop locations across Canada, but it’s only here for 8 weeks. Make up a special occasion if you have to, because you don’t want to miss this!

Punjabi music mogul Diljit Dosanjh announced his Dil-Luminati Tour earlier this year, taking him to stadiums and arenas across North America. The 13-date tour kicks off in Vancouver before making its way to Edmonton on May 6th.

American folk-punk band Violent Femmes are making their Winspear Centre debut this May. You can expect the band to perform two of their greatest albums in entirety – their self-titled debut album and Hallowed Ground.

Wild Heart Collective’s 124 Grand Market is set to make a return this month. The food and drink (plus a little shopping and entertainment) will be running Thursday, Saturdays, and Sundays at locations around the city starting on May 9th.

Fort Edmonton Park is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and will be hosting a weekend of events to mark the occasion.

This year’s Disco In The Park music festival is a one epic day and night event in partnership with the Fruit Loop & Grindstone Theatre Society Pride Block Party weekend.
