It’s the last few days of June and the first few days of July. If you’re ready to celebrate endings and new beginnings this weekend has plenty of events to check out. From concerts to eats, the outdoors, and more, this weekend is looking pretty great. Here are 11 of the best things to do in Seattle this weekend.
The Seattle Chamber Music Society has a unique offering for you, The Concert Truck. The truck is traveling around the city for “18 performances, 18 locations, 10 days, 8 musicians” and of course, 1000s of music lovers.

Seattle’s public pools are officially all open for the season. Check out Colman or Mounger pools which are the city’s outdoor pools. You can’t go wrong with whichever pool you pick.
Elevate your 4th of July plans, literally- Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi is throwing an epic party with city views from the 31st floor! The celebration comes in hand with their 5th Anniversary and will feature culinary stations, live music, cocktail demos, and an incredible fireworks show & complimentary champagne toast to tie it all off.

Check out the South Sound’s ultimate summer food fest with both local and international cuisine. The Taste Northwest has over 150 food and marketplace vendors for you to check out and is free to attend!

It’s time to get outdoors! If you’re hesitant to hike but happy to take your indoor activities outside, checking out an outdoor movie is a great choice. There are several places you can catch flicks outdoor this month and some are even free!
Queer folk artist Joey Veltkamp has a selection of works on view at Greg Kucera currently. You can check out “soft paintings” – amazing quilts with a variety of images as well as text.
